MILA

I am a fine artist, a fashion designer, a poetess, and a problem solver. I love to work with my hands to bring inanimate materials to life. Each work is a meticulously assembled sensory object full of texture and dimension that, to me, are snapshots of a universal reality and understanding of beauty.

I use manufactured and handmade papers, luxurious fabrics, fibers, leaves, sticks, ribbon, silk flowers, sand, rhinestones, metallic leafing, and various other materials to create original mixed media works that are part drawing, part sculpture and part collage. Each work representing the illusion, the reality.
